The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 同意友邻，守灵篇最得原作灵魂，虚空与诡异配以简单粗暴的滤镜，直白的恐惧扑面而来。鼠人中规中矩，机械改造人场面兼备了东南亚与美式血浆口味，但绝非原作旨趣所在。能在导演变更与时代迭递中基本保持风格，本系列实属不易。

故事之间的联系莫名其妙，都是反社会反人类，精神污染严重，但是并不平庸。
此系列还以为终结在三部曲了，没想到重启之后还是那样惊艳！第二、三个故事很精彩！
第一個下水道鼠人的最喜歡，第三個科學怪人的一開始比較無聊，後面充滿快感，其他的都比較一般，尤其是最後一個，看了半天不知道說了什麼。
晃的我这个恶心，最后非要加上个亚裔魔女，不知道是不是映射我大天朝
拖沓得要死，除了机械怪物那段，剩下的都是啥呀……这种东西看的是脑洞创意、血腥重口，你丫玩深沉就没意思了。
小带子漏气了，第二个故事氛围最好，人体改造平平淡淡 第四部相对前三部真的很清新甜美，吸血鬼的造型可以和vhs1的女妖肩并肩
近期的“致命”系列有点多，从致命感应到致命催眠，还是录像带系列最为致命
还行，前两个的故事的氛围非常好
够劲儿但是不恐怖...
就是看看新鲜罢了...好在觉得没有浪费时间...
第三个故事算是全系列最佳之一，前三个故事相当不错，最后一个扣分
下水道鼠人怪、殡仪馆复活的被肢解的尸体、实验室机器合成人，还有最后一个雪地里的故事不懂什么意思。挺CULT, 够暴力, 机器合成人那里恶心了一下。永远不要给机器人活着的机会！！

第一个鼠人有点像异形，人们对陌生巨大生物的崇拜，第二个故事守灵的主要是个氛围感，但有点套路了，而且有点短，可以再多周旋一会，第三个最喜欢了，人体解剖加机械，让人想起电锯惊魂，可惜本人有点晕3d，第三个到最后有点小晕😵
