The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 前面看得一度在想“为什么要这样？”，慢慢才展露出安藤的内心世界，前半段对安藤内心纠结、痛苦、无助的表达偏少。坦白性取向后，电影开始好看。在医院向妈妈哭诉，以及三浦的那段演讲是最打动人两场戏，也是两位主演的最佳状态。到此为止即可，和男友分手、去看望逝去的网友……电影不用拍那么满的，电视剧、小说可以填满，电影一个镜头就交代了。
对于同性恋这种敏感题材，这部电影可以说是非常正能量和政治正确。但真的好伤心呀，周围人对安藤很好，但他内心的失落是永远无法弥补的，这就是命运的沉重吧。

作为改编可能还算不错了，整体还是不推荐给演员粉丝以外的人的类型。
有两处被戳到但是同时觉得日本人对于“普通”的向往难以言喻
很好看也走心的类型片，完成度蛮高的，视听上一点不马虎，虽然剧本明显有一个套路，但拍的确实牵动人心，主要是节奏掌控很不错。这个剧本底子总想起《热天午后》，最后结尾想起《虎豹小霸王》。

虽然人心向善，但是自由的代价，真的是很大的，尤其是当有人自以为是霸主的时候。
现在看四十年前的人们好有礼节，反抗的如此温文尔雅。片中的美国黑人已经思想解放敢想敢干了。认准的路就要一直走下去，不要奢求对手仁慈。
