The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 令人无感的山田洋次电影，无论是人物故事的情感关系，还是关于电影的情愫，都无法令人产生共鸣、有着共情。两星。
真是一位好姑娘啊，"不是他要给我幸福，而是我想要给他幸福"，算是一个非常圆融首尾呼应良好的故事了。泽田研二老爷子真让人惊讶，年轻时候帅得那么风华绝代，失敬了。

观影途中我在脑海中列了一张批评质问清单，但是电影尾声回到火车里的场景，用皮尺丈量的那一幕，那一瞬间，我大哭一场原谅了一切。我太爱苏打了，他眼里的光、额头低落的汗、在片场的种种认真和痴傻、宣告梦想时的自信和纯真，都一次次打动我，苏打本人让我对这个并不讨喜的角色怀有飞蛾扑火的那种执着，“我没有想着要让阿乡给我幸福，是我要让阿乡幸福。”
如果不是本来的主演男主爷爷因为疫情去世，可能片子质量要好很多。感情分加上北影节最后一场欢快的观影气氛值得多打一分，电影里面网站主页令人泪目
