The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 剧本上有些俗套，还是几个校园卢瑟在组乐队过程中结识朋友、坠入爱河、与家人和解最后赢得认可（虽然比赛没拿第一）的故事。找贝斯手、大提琴女孩融入乐队等段落也比较单薄。总体上不如《摇滚校园》，毕竟那是林克莱特。但本片的青春片气息逼人！把teenager的愤怒、孤独、叛逆、渴求都表现得很到位。显然是导演功劳超过了编剧。还有半颗星是为了片中的金属乐队和歌曲加的！铁娘子、Metallica、黑色安息日、圣徒犹大、摩托头、Dio……金属四巨头全都出现了！连男主的车牌都是铁女的专辑“Powerslave”！大提琴当贝斯的设计真是太赞了。Emily的形象跟Beyond the Black乐队女主唱很像啊。

7.1 重金属校园青春片 选角都挺棒的 最棒的就是从头到尾的BGM 让人忍不住打起拍子

凡事都有代价，做好选择
以音乐为背景，透过重金属摇滚乐来宣泄青春时代的躁动。有些情绪，确实只有通过摇滚才能精准传达。
故事核心还是个校园片，才知道马友友原来这么厉害
大提琴真是好听 主角也靓 亨特太漂亮了😻😻kkk歌蛮好听的，剧情感觉差点 而且情感有点莫名。。可能因为我和前卫死亡金的人有生殖隔离
剧情挺简单的。演员选得都好显小和学生气啊。说metal gay和Emily爆发那段很好笑
一直铺垫到最后的battle of the bands，精彩爆棚。比起我们的“都选C”可好到不知道哪里去了。
自由的代价，黑人主演那种绝望中硬撑中狠厉，太让我印象深刻了。南非，如果有机会想去看看。
说不上来的一般，都不能说还行……
非常轻松的解压片啊，虽然是重金属，情节并不燃，配乐燃而已，看着蛮开心的

好久没看青春校园题材了，再加上Metal，老泪纵横
挺多共鸣的地方，也想起了好朋友。但更多是突兀和套路剧情。 考虑到老少咸宜，行吧。

青春啊，重金属啊，两者结合就挺好的，歌曲和背景音乐都不错。
