The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 西部版《我和我的家乡》+《我和我的父辈》。一个女性角色都没有。就是稳准狠，把西部片最吸引男性观众的元素全部提炼了出来，也顺便把女性观众和娘炮踢的远远的。

难得现在还能看到一部如此舒缓古典的西部片。虽然剧情和场景都简单了些，和《新豪勇七蛟龙》这样的当代西部动作大片相去甚远，但骨子里的悲怆气息与东木老爷子的《不可饶恕》如出一辙
美式武侠，隐居大咖。电影的氛围感营造的很好。
这个西部片好看。 喜欢这个儿子。好勇。不喜欢无辜人员的死扣一星。
惹上一个不该惹的人，双脚已经踏入地狱门，紧张的眼神，颤抖的双唇，何必再去苦苦强求，苦苦追问？
复刻西片怀故旧，有心无力慢慢慢。
故事虽然老套，还是值得一看。

节奏慢得惊人。为毛要先安排一场拿长枪与匪徒对峙的戏？
全片简洁不拖沓，最后的枪战有种回到老西部片的感觉。不过西部片真的没落了，也只能挖些老素材拍了。
他死前给儿子上了一课
铺垫草率不可怕，可怕的是还给你来个自以为是热血结尾你受得了吗？
他有一个不理解他的孩子
尽管粗粝感有了，但终究打斗过程过于简单而前面的铺垫有些冗长，其中的几条支线也和主线没啥必然关联，当然更重要的是，作为中国人，我们对西部世界并没有情亲感，很难为情怀再加一星了，
不可饶恕的剧本，只是老亨利感觉没有老牛仔气质，演技略显浮夸，没荒野三部曲那味。
不相信有救赎，能在其他人和事情上找到慰藉就很好了
