剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     LMM作为宽街新贵的人脉大展览（最直白的就是sunday餐厅曲的cameo：LMM自己以及他的班底，算是桑爷那儿来的Bernadette Peters和Chita Rivera和André De Shields，我个人看到倍感惊喜的Joel Grey，等等），整体效果无限类似（被按摩师虚假安利给LMM的）加菲的音乐剧电影表现：架势能唬人。（加菲起初的表演实在太像天使在美国时的prior了）（属于LMM和加菲的motif/幽灵船涟漪在片中不停浮现）（对他俩有滤镜，以及在电影中途迅速去买了rent 25周年farewell tour的票，再以及公寓party的bgm有石玫瑰的i wanna be adored，所以给四星）

    一部关于音乐剧作家的音乐剧。LMM导演的第一部电影，一个充满才华的作曲家的陨落。不知道JON是不是LMM的偶像，即便不是，LMM对他也是穿越时空的惺惺相惜。电影中JON的创作过程，那些灵感迸发、自我怀疑、充满热情、坚毅自信……或许都是LMM曾经的亲身体验。不同的是LMM现今大放异彩，而JON却在看到自己成功前半天突然离世。天才惋惜天才，情感上何止充沛，直接溢出。加菲难得有这样的表现机会，表演也是可圈可点，相信在颁奖季会有很强的竞争力。有几首歌挺不错，有让观众跟着一起律动的能力。
