The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 没看过原作单说本片，这是一个好但还不够好的剧本，只属于杰哈的独角戏，他的确很好地完成了任务，但首先是加入了一些不必要的枝节，比如男主哮喘有什么意义吗？他一定得这么焦虑吗？这就引出了藉由人物的焦虑情绪来塑造氛围并不成功，只有男主的表演在紧张而影片的其余全部都不紧张。结尾也太满了，没有任何空间，影片的整体气质比较像一部三流的美剧。
看过原版之后觉得这部有点吵了，符合美国人特质。

钱老版脖子粗，演技更粗，没有狗狗演得好。
钱老板射程范围内的表现，没有大突破，也没有太强的记忆点。找自己家人那段没有展开，有点小缺憾。
加了不少泄劲的琐碎，而且结尾大改——不仅“阖家团圆”，告解救赎画蛇添足，可能顾忌美国反暴力执法的情绪。
一部退伍军人和退伍军犬的故事，狗狗很不错，很感人！任何时候狗狗都是人类最忠诚的朋友！
