The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 反社会人格的演员饰演的恐怖片有多恐怖？看完这部大概会有答案。导演在半死不活的伪纪录片类型里找到了绝处逢生的表现力。

不建议三观正的人观看，怕是会被女主气死。三观正的人就不要看恐怖片之类的啦，给自己添堵
不觉得恐怖，只觉得碎嘴无论国界是真的令人烦。
聚焦在西裔非法移民身上的小成本恐怖片。“一文钱难倒英雄汉”的写实，与光怪陆离充满哥特风格的魔幻，碰撞出充满反讽的结局——完成精神弑母的女主，竟然让大boss也退避三舍，乖乖缩回石箱不说，还要怯怯地给自己拉上石门。女主不但成为满坑满谷受害人中的另类，还顺利完成反杀，干掉了房东兄弟。结尾保持开放，女主是否黑化，成为箱怪新的祭司，留作悬念。
什么玩意儿啊拍的这是，女主坏人一窝蜂似的，不对，一窝扑啦蛾子似的低级反智，这玩意儿带传染的吗，怎么把大魔王也给搞成乖乖听话的宠物喂养模式了？
【B-】虽然还是「鬼屋+阴谋」的传统恐怖片模式，但是至始至终对于氛围的把握都很到位；虽然频繁地使用Jump scare，但是效果确实也达到了。再加之最后怪物的出色设计，让本片比一众同类型的小成本恐怖片要高级、精彩不少。
前面太拖沓了，属于越看越窝火类型…结局拉回来一星
