The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 结果Stephen Sondheim这就去世了。他给Jon的电话留言，突然觉得，真的是应该多给别人一些善意和鼓励，简单几句也许会对那个看重你的人有意想不到的作用。歌都好好听。
有点失望。歌很好听，而且和声比较丰富，虽没有专门的合唱歌曲那么复杂的声部，但听感还是比迪士尼以及大部分话语音乐剧要立体。

各方面都令人想要和《爱乐之城》对比。但本片无论是音乐上还是对爱情与梦想之间挣扎的表现，都差了许多。
加菲的演技有点尬住，但是他太真诚了，那双眼睛流起泪来很难不勾得人跟他一起心碎。音乐好喜欢啊。
对于歌舞片来说，歌好听，就成功80%了，加上剧情不错，人生短暂，为梦而拼
大批才华横溢之人都英年早逝，但他们的遗产却已成为世界文化符号，一代代传递下去，他们的精神也会通过这些作品散发到每个角落。

本片是林-曼努尔·米兰达的导演处女作，可以看做是不那么浪漫的《爱乐之城》。
勇敢去爱
虽然题材一般感兴趣，三十+没出人头地的困境也毫无共鸣，但加菲猫和lin-manuel诚意可嘉，agent说必须不停write write write扎心了…
安德鲁从《主流》片场醒酒后装满所有能量和精神完成了这部好戏及音乐剧。每一位角色都可爱有趣，每一个音符也都好听。遗憾不能在影院享受。
