The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 喜欢这部片子拍的街景，主题曲和罗大佑客串的《大家免着惊》还有它们配合的片段是真的能把人带入那种中年回望荷尔蒙时期的怀缅加洒脱
一开始觉得剧情神秘撩人，后面节奏有些熬人，喜欢女主的表演
不错的处女座，审美音乐品味好的人拍电影不会差
Flashback和現時的剪輯銜接處理瑕疵明顯，造成觀影時情緒氛圍斷裂 : 一邊是現時的詭異，一邊是往昔的憾恨，兩邊無解的意識流堆疊。(交叉點: 洋娃娃還給對方，試圖勸誡他人的人生與療癒自己。)
现在看来有点粗糙了，写实感非常强。贡献了一张太出色的音乐作品辑，以至于我觉得伍佰的歌要好过电影。还有罗大佑和林强的特别出演。

优秀的台湾现实主义电影，又有着青春残酷物语，牯岭街的小马，很不错，可惜了，英年早逝。如果以后有修复版就好了。
