A documentary on the history of garlic. Blank interviews chefs, garlic lovers, and historians about the their love of the 'stinking rose.'
Often referred to as a stinking rose, garlic, in its culinary uses, generally evokes a love it or hate it response. Quite often, these responses are on cultural lines, where old world cultures have generally revered it in their cooking, while new world cultures have not. A renaissance of sorts is taking place in the use of garlic in the United States, with more and more immigrants bringing their use of the spice to the country, with more people desiring more spice in their food, with a desire to get back to the land and with the production of plant a large part of the Central California landscape. Many chefs are presented preparing dishes prominently featuring the spice. On the bad side, the association of garlic to bad breath is discussed. On the other side, its purported health benefits are also discussed. Other topics presented include its association to vampirism, and speculation of how people will want their garlic to be presented to them in the future.

其实想表达的内核很喜欢，歌有几首也不错，甚至觉得舞台剧原版应该会更好看，为啥呢，拍得太差了………中间的都不说了，最后妈妈solo那段，竟然正反打了一整首歌……看呆了……你这还不如固定机位拍呢……如果改变的版本不唱歌可能会更适合电影呈现，回头去看看舞台剧录像！
音乐剧改编电影真的很难改得好看，还不如直接搬stage version；而且恕我直言Ben Platt就不适合大银幕，在电影版本的青春洋溢的配角的映衬下更显得。。。julianne moore和amy adams在这里根本就大材小用，为什么要把我的laura小姐姐换掉QAQ！
灾难、人性、社会问题、命案、悬疑，一部好电影的气质dér一下就拉满了。可惜前边浓汤宝后边纯净水，整个故事就好像走在平坦、笔直的溜光大道上一路到底就完事了。立意高大上，叙事肌无力。但愿人间没有苦难，生活充满阳光！
真不是每部音乐剧改编电影都能手到擒来，与其改拍成这样这样还不如去拍官摄。导演真是不行！这么好的音乐剧这么好的演员都浪费了！音乐五星！演员五星！导演0分！
不是什么剧都适合改电影啊，DEH尤其是……既然要做电影，不如直接按原著来把Connor的暗线全部拍出来，丰富得多。Murphy父母演得跟玩儿似的，看起来就真的不像死了儿子，真像把Evan当儿子了。
很引人深思也很日本…制度的不完善…底层的痛苦永远被漠视…不给人添麻烦的耻感…海啸后的食物争夺…一切都很真实…
Dear Evan Hansen, thank you to give us a chance to know you and Connor Murphy. Everyone has a side of darkness and depression. We see people around us smiling in life, but we don’t see the sorrow moment of their life. You show us that in fact everyone is vulnerable, and we are not alone. So no matter how hard life is, it’s real, don’t let it go.
节奏太慢了，而且杀人动机也太勉强了。谁都没有错，制度的错吗？
6。”You’ll Be Found” is still touching. 剧情不太行。
5分给立意。电影拍得稍微弱了一点，故事的反转意料之中，但女主最后的留言，“我们要发出比卑劣者响亮，更理直气壮的声音！”还是感动了我。表演没什么问题，所有人物的设定也很人性化，也比较复杂化，佐藤健的演出有点像章宇。这类社会问题和心灵创伤绝不止日本，没有人是一座孤岛，不要问丧钟为谁而鸣，它就为你而鸣。
宽街一票难求的剧电影版，歌入耳，情节不能细想，“抑郁焦虑”成了吃人血馒头的合理理由？Alana边唱着Anonymous one边上传letter这幕让我的颅内脏话飙到顶峰。所有角色都沉浸在一种自怜自艾之中，放在舞台上或许能让观众“共情”，放在大荧幕上叫伪善的极致
还行啊，个人觉得还不错…没有看过音乐剧版的英语也渣，就电影来看还是可以推荐的。虽然有些处理感觉有点仓促但也不妨碍整体感受，特别是埃文在演讲唱“For Forever”的那一段，挺感人。
虽然他做了难以挽回的事情，但是他发出的诘问值得我们深思……针砭时弊，如果我们也有这种电影就好了
天灾不可避免，人祸也值得深思。大家都非常努力了，但是这个世界就是还有很多拯救不到的人，确实要说出口，别人才有的帮。
但事实不是那样的
普通如白开水一般无味，可能日本人有情感共鸣会觉得好看。
合适的阳光，合适的感动。不一定是最好，只是心情和时机对了。
整体气氛过于阴郁，社会派属性太强，果然一直没看原著是正确的
