The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 如今看这样的故事太过时了，王朔骨子里还是有难以舍弃的浪漫情怀，也还是喜欢一种类型的大飒蜜，女主兜兜转转要给男主伺候终老，二人相视满眼的自我感动，字幕差点儿打出这就是爱情，如果只是他俩的年代爱情也就是土点儿俗点儿，但硬要加入慢视觉，干细胞这种超现实元素，搞得剧情割裂，不伦不类。
王传君的老脸，演青春不老毫无说服力，而王珞丹最后剪短发那段，也没演出老来。有点儿糊弄了，说实在的。
开头有《阳光灿烂的日子》的质感…青梅竹马的确难忘啊。
冲王传君看的。高开低走，挺拧巴一故事。是既想肉欲忠贞，又想精神宇宙永恒，不愧是老男人写出的本子啊。这大义凌然劲儿，真让人有点遭不住。
干细胞宣传片，高粱饴软植入，王珞丹的演技真的牛批。
1.全片故事较扎实，情节较感人，时长太长，容易使人疲劳
百转轮回心不变，人生忆往无所住，竭我一生照现实。
其实是《阿甘正传》的叙事模式+《恋恋笔记本》（阿尔兹海默症）。王珞丹的人设跟《阿甘正传》的女主太像，最后的女儿也像是复刻阿甘的儿子。
豆友给这部剧打分偏低，我觉得在7.5左右。
王老和萌萌就自然多了，想和这俩人做朋友。
抄一部也就算了，还抄两部，抄的还都是经典！这勇气不这脸皮也是厚的。
为王啸坤而看。这片子分数着实有点低了，虽然的确要素过多，不容易懂，但是镜头真的不错。王啸坤演这种角色真的是演活了，全剧搞笑担当。里面有个镜头，他长头发带墨镜这不是星野源的伟明嘛，哈哈哈哈，就说他两长得很像了。
看到五颜六色的歌舞厅霓虹灯旁，是黯然失色的“百花齐放”，想起前几天还在跟朋友分析韩国2010年的票房冠军，还在调侃《憨豆特工》和《飓风营救》，我在朋友宿舍哭得像个找不到奶奶的孩子。无论是王朔还是徐超，你们也就只敢在灯红酒绿旁边悄悄地写上已经销声匿迹的四个字了。
讲的是个啥，王传君演技很好吗？王珞丹演的是个啥？我看不懂看不懂。
郭是个随波逐流的人，在漫长的人生长河中遇到了两个闪烁光芒的灯塔，一个人用小提琴点亮了他的童年，也杀死了他对美好未来的憧憬，一个是丁萌萌。这个极其先锋的人物因为恐惧死亡而走向了死亡，却让郭不再畏惧生死。很可惜小鲁到萌萌的最后一刻才真正爱上她吧。影片的结尾很有意思，我相信这是苏的幻想，弥补过去的一切遗憾。而郭可能再他人生中的某一个阶段已经走了，可能非洲，可能和萌萌一样死去。王珞丹是我非常喜欢的演员，可是总让我感觉非常出戏。导演想一本正经的搞笑，但没有处理好让这部剧low了许多。
他挺惨的，一直看着亲人朋友爱人一个个离他而去。是吧，这部电影应该说的就是死亡和分离吧。
本来以为是翻拍本杰明巴顿奇事，没想到换了种方式讲人生。生死离别其实就包含在普通生活的片段里，再想利用科学去改变也都不太可能。电影从头到尾都是不同的人在不断的分别，离开，后面非洲那里有点跳脱了，但是整体上我觉得是不错的。演员们也都好。虽然王传君我个人还是觉得有一点药神的影子在身上，王珞丹却是好的，她不再和自己死磕了，或许也可能这就是她死磕出来的结果，挺适合她的。

后面部分真的太跳脱，很难理解，不过莫名有种伤感，可能是镜头氛围不错的原因。相比于和女主的故事，我觉得和女二的故事更叫人无奈又难过。还有，王传君和王珞丹最后要演出两代人的样子实在太诡异了，分明看起来两个人年纪就没区别，完全没有一个老了一个还年轻的感觉😒
