The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 整体剧情非常平淡，东木老爷子一把年纪了还亲自下场也挺不容易了，祝福老爷子长命百岁吧！
老爷子还在坚持创作就是幸事。很高兴看他分享的对人生的感悟。结尾反转很爽快。

故事很简单，也不太吸引人，东木老爷明显老了，90岁了，太厉害了
平心而论真的很“平淡无奇”，情节也是非常“俗不可耐”的一部片子，其中对于冲突的温柔简洁处理想来却算是对自己“力不从心”的一种别样阐述了，无论戏里戏外亦是如此。但再怎么说东木导演90多了还能坚持拍片，有这种精力也确实是令人敬佩的。
