The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 迷你剧和第一部都没看过，不影响对内容的理解。剧情的安排和设定像流水一样自然铺开，感觉像是英式贵族传统与新兴平民媒介的冲突与融合，庄园的未来发展暗含更多可能。
作为一部电影而言其实是不及格的，适合剧迷看看情怀。
就像是回老家拜访老邻居，聊聊天说说话，看看这几年他们过的好不好，那时候还在地上蹒跚学步的小孩有没有长高，家里老人身体是不是还硬朗。。。
看完之后完全理解了LMM为啥不拍自己写的剧却要来拍这个传记作品了，这是知音的灵魂碰撞，也是艺术家前后辈间的传承。Respect.
创作者真的就是一句表扬都是动力，不需要他人认可的创作者说不存在的，抱着女朋友想着创作那一幕真的很灵，这个人，很立体。
前半截有点碎，后半截有点拖。但是老夫人都走了（“不要哭，我都听不见我自己死。”），这会不会是最后一次看到唐家屯呢……
