The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 不用再改编麦克白了吧，《蜘蛛巢城》之后，不管后来的导演们选择什么样的风格，什么样的改编切入点，在这座大山面前，都显得没多大意思了。对于这版极简舞台剧的风格，打光是最大亮点，也是它在电影化上最成功的地方。
如果光线不是这么明亮，这部黑白片会不会看起来就像黑色电影了？

对于如此经典而又多次以常规手法演绎的故事，探索象征化的手法，不失为一种出路，但演员的表演以及手法在美学之外的实际意义，是一个巨大的问题
念白很舞台化，背景很表现主义，光线是最棒的。华盛顿和麦克多蒙德的表演就中规中矩吧。整体文本的内核和构思没有太大新意。如果能移植到舞台，复刻光线和背景，我觉得感受会更好。
剧情性不强，先看了一个长篇MV。但是戳爷演的很好。

看似《灯塔》的4:3画幅黑白影像，和库泽尔2015年版《麦克白》的“文言文”，可不论视听还是内核都远不如前两者来得深厚。耳熟能详的故事，美学上强调光影构图与极简舞台，新鲜但不新意。★★★☆/7.6

养眼但cliche，冲着画面和troye可以一看。
其实就科恩的水平，即使单飞也能把这样一出反映命运对人类捉弄的本子拍出新意，毕竟这也是他们曾经常用的主题，但是他不仅没有这么做还拍出了一部华而不实的无聊作品，着实让人失望了。
这是一部可以让我这个直男可以共情的电影 比同类型的一些电影要强很多
不带滤镜去看，开了1.25倍速，故事有点无聊，演技也浮于表面，没什么记忆点。

奶奶真的很给人以力量，“a fist in the air”是我需要狠狠学习的。
7/10，制作精良、高度风格化的佳作，观影时多次想起威尔斯的《奥赛罗》和奥利弗的《哈姆雷特》。与威尔斯的《奥赛罗》类似，本片也更换了主角的种族，并毫不意外地破坏了影片的可信性。
轻松幽默且清新的txl青春片/小戳真的是本色出演吧，太可爱惹😍
